Holy Crap

My dog is huge. She is only 4 and a half months old and she now weighs SIXTY POUNDS! We measure her once a month and in one month she grew at least 5 inches in height! But she's still adorably clumsy, as all puppies should be. Here are a couple of new pictures:

Jay has now taught her to sit and stay on command, which she does (most of the time) and we are THRILLED that she has learned something!

She is very cuddly, which I love, but sometimes she gets random spurts of energy and she'll sprint lighting-fast laps around our tv room - it's a riot!

She has recently discovered a love of running outside (she used to hate it - too much snow and cold) so we take her out whenever we can. Our giant puppy has also met a new little neighbor friend, a dog about a third her size, and it's funny to see them run around and play. Caly still hasn't figured out how big she is, so the little dog gets trampled a bit when they're running around. They both seem pretty happy, though, so we just let them be.

All in all, this dog is pretty much the best gift I've ever gotten and for the most part (she still has her naughty puppy moments) she is a ton of fun to have around!

Oh the things you blog about when you don't feel like typing a long post ...

Alright, I actually do have things in my life to blog about - birthday, family, etc, but I'm not really in the mood to type a long post and it would probably end up being mind numbingly dull if I did because I'm not feeling even slightly creative right now. So ... this is what you get until I run into one of those random "wow I'm feeling clever, I think I'll write a cute blog" moods:

Here are the rules:

1. Go to your documents/pictures.

2. Go to your 6th file.

3. Go to your 6th picture.

4. Blog about it.

5. Tag 6 people to do the same.

I love this picture. I don't love that the photographer forgot how to spell my name ... but I love the picture.

And let me tell you, getting onto a motorcycle in a wedding dress is not as easy as it may seem. (I know you were looking at this thinking, wow, that looks simple and comfortable ... ) I was terrified I was going to rip my dress or get it dirty or something and we were nowhere near finished with the photography portion of the day. Luckily, 15 minutes and no incidents later ... We ended up with some really cute (and original, in my opinion) wedding pictures.

By the way yes ... That is the real color of Jay's suit. It was his one request and what kind of person would I be if I didn't let him have a lime green zoot suit?

Oh, and I'm not big on tagging. I don't like the pressure. So if you'd like to do this, go for it. I'll definitely read it. But if you don't, I won't hate you.
