Jay has now taught her to sit and stay on command, which she does (most of the time) and we are THRILLED that she has learned something!
She is very cuddly, which I love, but sometimes she gets random spurts of energy and she'll sprint lighting-fast laps around our tv room - it's a riot!
She has recently discovered a love of running outside (she used to hate it - too much snow and cold) so we take her out whenever we can. Our giant puppy has also met a new little neighbor friend, a dog about a third her size, and it's funny to see them run around and play. Caly still hasn't figured out how big she is, so the little dog gets trampled a bit when they're running around. They both seem pretty happy, though, so we just let them be.
All in all, this dog is pretty much the best gift I've ever gotten and for the most part (she still has her naughty puppy moments) she is a ton of fun to have around!

She's adorable! My mom would LOVE to have a Great Dane. I would love to have a yard so I could get any big old pup!!
I am so jealous!! If ever get my own dog I will get a great dane she is such a cutie! I want to come see her! Ah I just love big dogs! well we have to wait though we can't have pets in our new house so some day. If you ever need us to watch her though while your gone i'd love to!

Wow! She got so massive since I last saw her! She is gonna attack me and bite my bum next time she sees me :)
